Cooking class in Kyoto City
This past Sunday, I and several others among you spent an enjoyable, belly-filling afternoon making Japanese pumpkin bread
filled with sweetened, melty cream cheese, black sesame pudding, and warm, winter-evening pumpkin soup at a great cooking
class in Kyoto City, near the Daimaru on shijo dori. I hope that you'll help make this a monthly tradition on Sunday, February
17th as we learn how to make simmered daikon and amberjack fish ("buri"), complete with savory sides and plenty
of oolong tea to wash it all down. If you would like to attend the cooking class, please send your payment of either 700 yen
(members) or 1200 yen (non-members) to the KAJET account, and reply to this email with your intentions, as well. Please invite
a friend to sign up, too. Seating is limited, so this will be first come, first serve (and the class is really popular, so
let me know as soon as you can!) Deadline for reply/payment is Friday, February 8th. I hope you'll join us.
Yours,
Desirae M
