What is AJET?
AJET is an independent organization made up of current JET Programme participants that promotes and supports exchange
and teaching in Japan. AJET cooperates with the JET Programme in a number of ways including providing information to participants and assisting with orientations and
seminars.
What does KAJET do?
Throughout the year we plan a variety of events for any JET or Assistant Language Teacher living in Kyoto Prefecture,
including holiday parties, beer garden gatherings and excursions to other parts of Japan. We also welcome JETs from other
prefectures to participate! You don't need to be a member of KAJET to attend our events, however you will receive a
discount if you are. To see what events KAJET has planned, check out our Event Information page.
